Many people think there can be a better way. What if social workers and mental health professionals responded first in some of those calls? What if we built up the communities and provided them with more services instead of policing them with military-grade weaponry? What if we celebrated America by celebrating all Americans? Seems like a good (and timely) discussion to be having.
